MCUS101: Introduction to Arduino- Blinking Lights, Movement, and Sensors
Six weekly, 1.5 hour sessions
Cost: $5/session ($45 total.)
Ever wanted to add blinking lights, movement or other interactivity to your projects?
Arduino, a credit card (or smaller) sized computer, might be what you’re looking for!
Arduino was developed at the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy, to make micro-controllers affordable and accessible to students. Since then it has exploded in popularity and is a cornerstone of many “maker” projects- both practical and artistic.
In this programme participants will discover what an Arduino is, how to connect one to LED lights, motors, and sensors, and how to write software to control them. The control software will be created using the Arduino C++ based development environment.
